About the app
Your dreams are some of the most private things you have. DreamLog keeps them on your iPhone and nowhere else.
Write a dream down the moment you wake up. Lock the journal with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. No account, no cloud, no tracking, and nothing that reads or interprets your dreams for you.
WRITE IT BEFORE IT FADES
- Open a new dream and the keyboard is already waiting
- Title is optional; just start typing
- Your draft saves itself and comes back if you are interrupted
- Add details when you want them: date, mood on waking, vividness from 1 to 5
- Mark a dream as lucid, nightmare or recurring
- Tag people, places and themes, with suggestions from tags you already use
- Attach up to 6 photos, for example of a sketch you drew
FIND AND REVISIT
- List view and a calendar view of your nights
- Search titles, text and tags; works with or without accents
- Filter by mood, dream type, tags and dates
- Sort by newest, oldest, recently edited, most vivid or title
NOTICE YOUR PATTERNS
- Dreams per month over the last year
- How many dreams were lucid, nightmares or recurring
- Your most frequent people, places and themes
- Themes that come back in two or more dreams
- Mood on waking, plus your current and longest writing streak
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
- Everything stays on your device. No account, no sign-up, no servers.
- No analytics, no ads, no tracking.
- Optional app lock with Face ID, Touch ID or your device passcode. DreamLog never sees your face data or stores a passcode of its own.
- Choose when it locks again: immediately, after 1 minute or after 5 minutes. It always asks on launch.
- Your journal is always hidden in the app switcher, even with the lock off.
- Backups happen only when you export one yourself. DreamLog reminds you that the backup file is not encrypted, so you can keep it somewhere safe.
Free, with no subscriptions, no in-app purchases and no limits. Available in English and Turkish, with light and dark mode.
DreamLog is a personal journal, not a medical or therapeutic tool.
